Hi! I’m Emily, a media relations professional by day, amateur hunter rider by night and photographer in all of the other hours between. I’ve spent my professional career at advertising agencies running media campaigns, social media strategy, influencer relations, financial communications, and more for iconic equine brands such as Boehringer Ingelheim (UlcerGard, Equioxx, Prascend) and Purina Animal Nutrition. Now working in tech, I started High Standards Media Co. as a way to continue combining my love for horses, photography, and creative strategy, outside of the typical corporate environment.

High Standards Media Co. primarily provides photography sessions for senior photos, high school and college graduations, family portraits, headshots, and more. My photography style focuses on natural light, nature, and capturing your true personality through the photos. Sessions are light-hearted and relaxed - it’s supposed to be fun!

High Standards also offers a limited number of freelance social media management services for equine businesses. Packages can be customized to your business needs and goals, and include content calendars, community management, social media templates, scheduled posting, copywriting for sale ads and more.

When I’m not at the barn, working my day job, or taking photos, you can find me running the in-gate at RPHSA and MHJA horse shows or working at St. Croix Saddlery. I also enjoy reading, crafting, baking, listening to country music and any activity that allows me to be outside. I’m the proud mom to my senior black lab (Zara), orange kitty (Ivy), and OTTB (Dewey), as well as numerous foster animals through The Bond Between.
